Laurie has more than 18 years of marketing, public relations and special events experience. Her career began in the 1980s at The Palm Beach Post where she learned how the media ticked from the inside out. During her career she has worked with all types of businesses, from financial institutions to non-profit organizations, and everything in-between. She has experience in the area of story idea development and media placement, event planning and crisis communications.
Her education background includes a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Government from Smith College, Florida Atlantic University Meeting & Special Events Planner Certificate along with industry training from some of the top marketing and public relations professionals in the area.
